WCCR: Colt City Radio is the name of the letters column that appears in the back of issues of The Black Beetle. The coumn is mainly run by editor Jim Gibbons as the radio's host. Occasionally Francesco Francavilla responds to letters also as a "special guest." As well as responding to letters, it is also features some gallery material from time to time.
Jim Gibbons, the man with many, many nicknames[]
Jim Gibbons has invents various nicknames for himself in the column:
- Jimmy Two Sodas, the man with the thirst so nice the soda jerk served him twice
- Trout James, the man with the fish name
- Jim "Pizza Party" Gibbons
Just don't call him Mr. Gibbons; that's his mother's name.
